Not Circumstances That Create Joy

Think about this for a moment. There are people out there who seem like they have everything, like their lives are perfect, yet they are not happy. And there are those who don’t seem like they have much at all, however they are some of the happiest people.

Joy does not come from what we have. It comes from relationships with others and with progression within ourselves. These things take effort. It is not our circumstances that create joy, it is the way we view the world and the relationships that we cultivate.
